Christine took four horses to the Yarra Yarra show in January and had some fabulous rides.  She rode Lyra in the Grand Prix test scoring a 65%, Larissa's JAS at PSG scoring a 67%, Rasta and LaPaz in Fourth Level Test 1. Our next show for 2010 will be the Murieta Golden State Dressage show in January with seven horses. From 2009 Show Season Congratulations to everyone who rode at the Region 7 Championships!  Christine and Rasta at Third Level Stacy and Cooper at Third Level Ellie Kennedy and La Paz at Third Level Christy Cadwallader and Sante at Second Level Michele DeLuna and Rapallo at PSG and I1 Elizabeth Zima and Garrison at First Level Congratulations to Christine for winning the Woodside Championship Show Series Trainer Challenge.  Christine enjoyed a fabulous trip to Hawaii in December.  Great job everyone on your rides!   At the Woodside Championship Show Nora McGee won the Second Level amateur championship and Michele DeLuna won the I1 championship.  Congratulations! Congratulations to Christine's clients for their rides at the Northern California RAAC.  Bridget Walker won the First Level Class with a 76% and Christy Cadwallader won the Second Level Class with a 72%.   Catching up on the year so far, we've gone to several shows and just completing the Woodside Spring show with seven horses.  There were many first placings for all along with first accomplishments.  It was Zack's first show riding in Training Level and scoring two 70%'s.  Stacey McCarthy and Lyra scored a 70% at Fourth Level, Michele DeLuna scored up to 66% at I1 on Rapallo, Nora McGee was back to showing Larissa's JAS at Second Level scoring mid 62%, Bridget Walker and Valentino had two scores over 70% at First Level, Laurel Brown and Mar'so scoring 66% at Second Level and Stacy with Sante scoring up to 68% at I1 with a 70% from one judge.  It was a great show and we all made it through the 100 degree weather.   The Murieta CDI was also a great success along with the Murieta Open Show.  Chris rode Lyra in the CDI Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle as well as the Open GP.  Placing 5th in the CDI Grand Prix and winning the CDI GP Freestyle and the Open GP class.  Stacy with Sante rode in the I1 and placed 4th in a class of 16 riders.  Another show of first times, Zeus and his first time at First Level, Sirringo and his first show, Cooper and his first time at Fourth Level, Rasta and his first time at Third Level.  Christine's students also did very well.  Michele DeLuna rode Rapallo in PSG and I1 scoring up to 65%, Erin King finished qualifying for Second Level with Artisan scoring up to 68%, Bridget Walker and Valentino showing First Level and scoring up to 73%.   Happy New Year to everyone!  We have completed our first show of 2009 to much success.  Our highlights included Christy Cadwallader on Sante scoring a 74, 73 and 70% at Second Level and earning high point for the show.  Bridget Walker was also extremely successful on Valentino in her first rides at First Level scoring two 70%'s.  Michele DeLuna rode both her horses Lord of the Dance and Rapallo in Fourth Level and PSG respectively with great scores.  Christine rode Jaleo XXX in Fourth Level and won the 4-1 class on Sunday.  Stacy rode Cooper in his first Third Level tests receiving 3 qualifying scores out of her 4 rides.  Congratulations to everyone.  Please keep an eye out for their interviews in a future edition of Chronicle of the Horse.       Other News...   We are proud to present the art of Anna Noelle Rockwell.  Anna specializes in original artwork and custom portraits.  Please contact 415-665-9393 or anna@fateish.com   Christine is now being sponsored by Heritage Performance Riding Gloves, Equilite Holistic Products and Thinline Pads.  A very warm thank you for their support!
